  • Prof. Dr. Md. Mamun Habib is a Professor & Head of the Department of Management at the School of Business & Entrepreneurship (SBE), Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB). 
  • Prof. Habib is the Visiting Scientist at the Department of Industrial Engineering of the University of Texas – Arlington, USA. He is also a Visiting Professor at Unirazak, Malaysia and UCSI, Malaysia; PUP, Philippines; Beijing Wuzi University, China; and Universitas Ciputra, Indonesia.
  • Currently, he is supervising eight (8) Ph.D. scholars locally and internationally, and thirteen (13) Ph.D. scholars have been awarded earlier.
  • As a Ph.D. examiner, he evaluated more than fifty (50) Ph.D. dissertations from several universities, particularly Western Sydney University, Australia; UUM, UNIRAZAK, AIMST, UNITAR, UNISEL, UPM, AeU, Malaysia; AU, Thailand; ITM, BIT, NIT, SOA, Chitkara University, AMU,, India; University of the Assumption, Philippines.
  • He has more than 23 years of experience in teaching, training, workshops, consultancy, and research.
  • Prof. Habib published over 250 research papers, including Conference Proceedings, Journal articles, book chapters, and books. Among them, approximately 75 articles are indexed in WoS and Scopus.
  • He is the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Supply Chain Management (IJSCM), UK, and Advanced Business and Finance, Canada. He serves as the Editor-in-Chief/Editorial Board Member for several journals, particularly Scopus and WoS-indexed journals.
  • As a Keynote Speaker, he delivers lectures at more than 100 international conferences in various countries, particularly USA, UK, Taiwan, China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Turkey, Korea, India, Philippines, Greece, Bulgaria, Australia, Italy, Nigeria, Kuwait, Qatar, South Africa, Germany, etc.
  • He conducted more than 250 Webinars/Workshops/ Seminars/Interviews locally and internationally.
  • He is involved in a few grant research projects in Australia, USA, Malaysia, Thailand, Bulgaria, European Union, India, and Bangladesh.
  • He is a lead trainer at the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) International, UK.
  • Earlier, he was affiliated with BRAC University and AIUB, Bangladesh; Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), and UNITAR International University, Malaysia; Assumption University, Thailand.
  • He accomplished his Ph.D. and M.S. with outstanding performance in Computer & Engineering Management (CEM) under the Graduate School of Business (GSB) from Assumption University, Thailand. His Ph.D. research was in the field of Supply Chain Management. His bachelor’s degree in EEE from BUET, Bangladesh.

  • His profile featured in BRITISHPEDIA as “Successful People in Malaysia and Singapore” by British Publication House, UK. He also received “Outstanding Professor in Business Management” and “Supply Chain Management Award” from IEOM, USA; “Excellence Researcher Award” from SIU, Thailand.
  • He is involved in Business Schools Accreditation, particularly as AACSB Virtual Ambassador & ACBSP Evaluator and Principal contact person of AACSB & ACBSP at IUB.
  • Dr. Habib also serves as General Chair, Program Chair, Technical Chair, Track Chair, and Session Chair of numerous international conferences, particularly ICEBTM 2025, ICBM 2019 & ICBM 2017.
  • He is involved with World University Rankings, including QS and THE, as an academician. He is connected to the industry as a Consultant at AmCham, USAID, BAFFA, etc.
